[Technical Service Team] First Step to Thailand

After the Technical Service Team of the APO’s Center of Excellence on Smart Manufacturing visited Vietnam in July, it immediately went to Bangkok, Thailand in August in the hope of promoting opportunities for cooperation between local organizations with relevant organizations or bodies in Taiwan, and, assist Thailand, one of the APO member countries, in establishing smart manufacturing.

This visit facilitates the negotiation on the material management automation cooperation between Mirle Automation Corporation and Thailand’s Modern Dyestuffs & Pigments Co., Ltd.; the talk is still ongoing. 

In addition, the team had preliminary exchanges with the Thailand Productivity Institute (FTPI) and the Department of Industrial Promotion (DIP). In addition to DIP expressing its intention to cooperate with the APO’s Center of Excellence on Smart Manufacturing (COE on SM), FTPI also interested in the smart manufacturing courses planned by CPC. FTPI expects to use APO COE on SM as a platform to connect technical service providers and enterprises with demand for smart manufacturing in the two countries, thereby strengthening the smart manufacturing cooperation between the two countries.
