The Technical Service Team revisited Hanoi of Vietnam from September 23 to September 27 meeting the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam, the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality of Vietnam (STAMEQ), and enterprises and technical service providers interested in introducing smart manufacturing, such as Vietnam National Chemical Group, AHT SERVICE AND TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT JOINT STOCK COMPANY (AHT), and other organizations. Also, the team co-sponsored a seminar with STAMEQ. During the discussion, the participating members discussed enthusiastically and actively shared relevant experiences.
H.E. Tran Van Tung, the Deputy Minister of Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology, stated that the textile, footwear and machinery manufacturing industries in Vietnam are seeking partners to implement Industry 4.0. Since Taiwan already has excellent experience and results in the aforementioned industries, H.E. Tran Van Tung hoped that Vietnam can receive relevant assistance.
In addition, the team also discussed in detail with STAMEQ the smart manufacturing training program and looked forward to further specific cooperation next year. Concurrently, Vietnam National Chemical Industry Group and AHT Company are also deeply interested in ICP DAS Co., Ltd.’s business operation, and hope Taiwan’s companies can use Vietnam as a springboard to expand the market southward.
