ROC–Türkiye Industrial Technology Exchange: Visits for Smart Manufacturing and Low-Carbon Technologies
The China Productivity Center (CPC) Central Regional Office welcomed a five-member delegation from Türkiye’s Ministry of Industry and Technology and its model factories from August 19 to 22, 2025. This was the first official exchange between the two sides, aimed at understanding Taiwan’s smart manufacturing capabilities and exploring future collaboration.

Türkiye’s manufacturing sector has faced labor shortages in recent years and is actively advancing digitalization and automation. During the visit, the delegation toured the Taipei International Automation Exhibition and several leading Taiwanese smart manufacturing companies, including Taichung Machine Tool and Hung-Kuang Industries, gaining firsthand insights into smart factories, digital transformation, automated warehousing, and low-carbon technologies.
The delegation expressed strong interest in CPC’s Smart Dojo at COESM, particularly its digital dashboards and integrated systems, as well as the SME-focused smart equipment developed by Zhan Yi Metal. They noted the potential for future cooperation and the opportunity to introduce these technologies to Türkiye.

This visit established an important foundation for Taiwan–Türkiye collaboration in smart manufacturing and green transformation, paving the way for continued technical exchanges, talent cooperation, and joint initiatives that support a more competitive and sustainable manufacturing future for both sides.
